When I come home after Genevieve has been taking care of my feline motorcycle gang, they look at me as if to say, “Oh it’s you. When is Aunt Genevieve coming?” The first time I asked Genevieve to pet sit, she asked to make an appointment ahead of time so that she could meet my animals, get the lay of the house and take notes on the ones with medical conditions. And she wrote notes on everything I said. It meant a lot to me that I had a pet sitter who was comfortable, competent and confident with giving medications and fluids. Genevieve is all of that. Since I share my life with #CatThugLife felines, I would like to say one of the many things I appreciate about Genevieve is that she clearly loves every animal for exactly who they are. When one of my cats who barely would let Genevieve get a quick look at her passed away, Genevieve came to her burial service and cried more than I did. If you want selfies of your pet sitter and your pet, daily reports on everything from who ate what, who came out to greet and who hid, to what their poop looked like, she will do that. Genevieve is responsive to her clients’ wishes and respectful of different pet parenting styles. Bottom line, I come home to a houseful of relaxed, happy cats. And animals don’t lie - they let you know who did right by them. Genevieve does.

We are so, so glad that Genevieve is our pet sitter. She takes the best care of our dogs. Rocky is a breeze but Gracie and Scooter can be a hand full. Genevieve has them all snuggling with her. We love getting the photo updates. It goes a long way to set our minds at ease so we can enjoy ourselves. This is the first time we have had an actual vet tech as our pet sitter and it is a wonderful feeling! She can take care of any issues better than we can! Genevieve is an amazing kitty sitter! I have two senior special needs cats that I could not leave with just anyone and feel comfortable. Genevieve is great with administering medications, shots and fluids. I never have to worry about leaving my two fur babies in her loving care. I am a worrier and she gives me daily updates so I can relax when away from them, this means so much to me. Also, both my cats love leash and harness walks and she is very experienced with this as well. This is very important as cats are so totally different on leash than dogs. She truly cares about my kids and it shows. They love her and so do I! Trust me she is the best around and I am super picky.

This review is for her amazing emergency help!! It was at 7pm on 4th of July and I was on a road trip from L.A. My 3 pound Maltese had a high fever and trembling and I didn't know how serious the condition was. I was desperate to find anyone who could give me some kind help, any kind of help!! I called the local vet but they were closed (of course, it was holiday) and said if this was an emergency, to take the nearest emergency vet which was 2 hours away! So when calling around, found Genevieve on yelp. She was the only one who answered her phone and was amazing enough to rush over with her husband, Ron, who was also amazing! Although she could not diagnose the condition, she was HUGE HELP!!! She brought her stethoscope and took temp and knew all the terminology to describe the condition to a local veterinarian to see how serious the condition was. I ended up talking my baby to the emergency and it was due to eye infection and ulcer but if it was not for Genevieve, I would have died on my way to the emergency vet! I was hysterical. Due to her help I was able to drive in calmer state and take care of my baby. Thank you Genevieve for your passion for caring for animals! Your love for animals are genuine and can see why you would be the best in your field.

I feel very fortunate to have met Genevieve at a time when I desperately needed help with my cats Gypsy and Bless. I was working long hours and needed someone to administer subcutaneous fluids to Bless after he was diagnosed with kidney disease. I was able to rest assured knowing that Bless was being given the best home care possible, and that both cats were given much love and attention. Genevieve sent me photos of my furry boys by texts, and videos of them by email, so that I could see how they were doing and we spoke on the phone frequently as she would give me updates on any changes in Bless' health. Anyone who is in need of an animal sitter would be lucky to have Genevieve in their home. Not only because she is a well studied vet tech, but because she is a lover of all animals. She is a wonderful human being, kind and patient and I feel blessed to know her.

I am eternally grateful for Genevieve. She is totally devoted to my cat, Boo, who is an extremely anti-social creature. The main stumbling block is that Boo's extremely aggressive and possessive over my space. Boo feels especially threatened when I'm not there, so whoever comes in has to be confident and also aware of how to sidestep the fierce little cat. Most people can't even enter my apartment without getting attacked, but Genevieve and Boo have become close friends. Genevieve is a real-life cat whisperer, and she's lovely to work with. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a pet sitter. I'm SO happy, and in case I haven't said it enough, SO grateful. She really is the cat whisperer!

I was lucky enough to have Genevieve as my veterinary nurse and practice manager for my house call practice in NYC. I don't even know where to begin about how wonderful she is. She elevated the caliber of my business and really helped me make a name for myself here in NYC as a house call vet. My clients absolutely adore her, and STILL, after 2 years will ask about her. She always went above and beyond what I ever expected from her to make sure my clients felt supported and informed. Being a pet owner herself she really "gets it" in terms of how much our fur babies mean to us. As far as her technical skills with my patients, she is incredible. Her love for animals is so pure and she has always done everything in her power to make sure that the animals are as comfortable as they can be.
She has taken care of my own animals as well and sends updates and pictures to make me feel connected. Genevieve is a special person and any animal that comes in her path is extremely lucky :)

Dr. Q is professional, warm and very kind to my cats. She obviously loves animals and has much compassion for them. She and her assistant, Genevieve, got right down on the floor with the cats, even after I offered to put them up on the bed or someplace more comfortable to work with. Genevieve was friendly and GREAT handling the cats. That's not easy with a cat who's frightened of strangers. Dr. Q spent a lot of time assessing the cats' health, taking blood and giving them shots and then she gave me all the time I needed to ask questions and discuss. She can do bloodwork, administer shots and undoubtedly many other things with her very efficient traveling office.

Genevieve was my first Petsitter after moving to a new city with my two kitties, Mak and Winnie. Along with this being a major change for my cats, my youngest had just gotten spayed, and I was nervous having to leave on a business trip while she was still stitched. Within five minutes of meeting Genevieve, I knew that she was the perfect person to be caring for my babies. Not only did she have extensive knowledge of post surgery care, but she also had access to emergency services and any other attention Winni would have needed while I was away. My other cat, Mak, has one eye and, although a love bug, at times could be very skittish. Genevieve took her time at each visit to get to know everyone and make them feel comfortable in their new environment. I really appreciated the time she spent with Mak and Winni and the time she'd take in her email reports. My fur babies loved her and so did I. When I learned she was moving to Utah to work at Best Friends, my heart was sad, but at the same time overjoyed because I knew she had found her calling. She remains my all-time favorite Petsitter and I highly recommend her to anyone. You and your furry family would be very very lucky to have her!!
